Dr. David DavidsonAfter earning his B.A. from Morningside College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa, Dr. Davidson has practiced family dentistry in the Des Moines area for over 30 years.
Memberships include the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association (past president), the Des Moines District Dental Society (past president), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He serves as a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Davidson is active in the Iowa Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy (past board president and current board member) and has traveled to numerous countries on dental healthcare ministry trips. He enjoys traveling (more than 70 countries), collecting historical artifacts, singing, art, photography and jigsaw puzzles. His professional motto of “quality dentistry, affordable service and compassionate care” has been the foundation of the practice since the very beginning. He and his wife, Diane, an attorney who is now Clinic Administrator at Davidson Family Dentistry, have been married for over 40 years. They have three children, Dr. Philip Davidson, a high school teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Michael Davidson, a dentist at Davidson Family Dentistry and Elizabeth Miller, a human resource manager in Cedar Falls, Iowa. |
